龐德羅莎源於美國，1965年龐德羅莎在印第安那州的kokomo市嘗試成立牛排館，由於所用產品均為自產自銷，成本大幅降低，在『高品味享受，大眾化消費』的吸引下，為消費大眾所接受，而逐漸發展成全美性的連鎖牛排餐廳! 龐德羅莎的國際化始於1982年，今日在美國、加拿大、波多黎各、卡達、埃及、阿拉伯聯合大公國及臺灣都可看到龐德羅莎牛排沙拉餐廳。1990 年，在併購了bonanza集團後，龐德羅莎成為世界最大的牛排連鎖餐廳，擁有店數超過1,300家。 每年在全美及全球各地服務客數超過160萬。今日已成為全方位概念之國際性主要連鎖餐廳集團。
