chijmes is a historic building complex located in the heart of city hall, which began life as a catholic convent also known as convent of the holy infant jesus (chij).

lei garden was established in 1973. it has evolved from a traditional cantonese-style restaurant to an upmarket, international restaurant chain, offering culinary delights and unique tasting menus developed from different parts of the world.
