ikoyi is a restaurant in central london, st james's and it is founded by friends iré hassan-odukale and chef jeremy chan. we combine bold heat and umami to create our own perspective on seasonality. ikoyi builds its own spice-based cuisine around british micro-seasonality: vegetables slowly grown for flavour, sustainable, line-caught fish and aged native beef. our kitchen aims to serve produce in its optimal state, harnessing as much flavour as possible while respecting the true nature of the ingredient.the foundation for our menu is a vast collection of spices with a focus on sub-saharan west africa, which we have meticulously sourced over the past few years. our restaurant is a 13 minute walk from oxford circus and close to chinatown.
scully st james's is ramael scully's first solo venture. born in malaysia and brought up in sydney, with a mother of chinese/indian descent and an irish balinese father, you can almost guarantee your experience will be based on a wide range of culinary traditions from his family heritage.
