the motor trade association "mta" represents automotive professionals and supports and protects the interests of the motoring public. mta is the hub of new zealand's automotive industry, representing around 3,700 automotive industry professionals – from general repair workshops, vehicle sales and service stations, through to specialists in fields as diverse as alternative fuels and collision repair.
