srbs has been celebrating ‘marathi bhasha gaurav din’ every year on 27th february in order to promote and popularize marathi language amongst all stakeholders. it is the birth anniversary of gyanpeeth award winner poet late v. v. shirwadkar. the student council organized events like marathi poem reading, dance on ethnic traditional marathi song, singing marathi cultural song, marathi traditional attire competition, games like marathi word translation & marathi phrase completion. institute also promoted marathi literature by promoting government website "https://sahitya.marathi.gov.in/" having 400+ scanned marathi books.
