the fish passage center (fpc) provides currentand historic data on salmon and steelhead passage in the main stem snake andcolumbia river basins. data from the smolt monitoring program (smp) is intendedto provide the information basis for federal, state and tribal recommendationsfor fish passage in the federal columbia river hydro-electric system.in addition to real-time access to smp data, the fpc provides data about riverconditions, hatchery releases, smolt migration, gas bubble trauma and adult returns.
