（公財）afs日本協会は、特定の政治・宗教に偏らない非営利組織です。日本でのafs活動は、1954年に初めて８人の留学生をアメリカに派遣して以来、現在まで留学・国際交流の活動を進めてきました。現在では日本全国77の支部で留学生の受け入れ、派遣、各種交流活動を行っています。
