〈web東京創元社マガジン〉は、ミステリ、ｓｆ、ファンタジイ、ホラーの専門出版社・東京創元社が贈るウェブマガジンです。平日はほぼ毎日更新しています。 　創刊は２００６年３月８日。最初はwww.tsogen.co.jp内に設けられました。創刊時からの看板エッセイが「桜庭一樹読書日記」。桜庭さんの読書通を全国に知らしめ、１４年５月までつづくことになった人気連載です。 　〈webミステリーズ！〉という名称はもちろん、そのころ創刊後３年を迎えようとしていた、弊社の隔月刊ミステリ専門誌〈ミステリーズ！〉にちなみます。それのweb版の意味ですが、内容的に重なり合うことはほとんどありませんでした。 　０９年４月６日に、東京創元社サイトを５年ぶりに全面リニューアルしたことに伴い、現在のｕｒｌを取得し、独立したウェブマガジンとしました。 　それまで東京創元社サイトに掲載していた、編集者執筆による無署名の紹介記事「本の話題」も、〈webミステリーズ！〉のコーナーとして統合しました。また、他社提供のプレゼント品コーナーも設置しました。 　創作も数多く掲載、連載し、とくに山本弘さんの代表作となった『mm9―invasion―』『mm9―destruction―』や《bisビブリオバトル部》シリーズ第１部、第２部は〈webミステリーズ！〉に連載されたものです。 　紙版〈ミステリーズ！〉との連動としては、リニューアル号となる０９年４月更新号では、湊かなえさんの連載小説の第１回を掲載しました（０９年１０月末日まで限定公開）。 　２００９年４月１０日／２０１６年３月７日　編集部
