editoriale: la redazioneeyesreg, vol. 11, n. 3, maggio 2021 con questo numero eyesreg compie dieci anni. questo editoriale avrebbe dovuto condividere con i lettori i buoni esiti fin qui conseguiti, nonché prefigurare i nuovi sviluppi utili a garantire l’attualità e la qualità dell’iniziativa.invece, come cita l’avviso pubblicato nel dicembredell’anno scorso sulla homepage della rivista, “a seguito della decisionedell'aisre di una radicale riorganizzazione dei suoi prodotti editoriali, dal 1°gennaio 2021 non si accettano nuovi invii di contributi”, eyesreg termina con questonumero la sua attività. l’editoriale di quest’anno è quindi dedicato al consuntivo finale di questa esperienza nata dieci anni fa su convinta iniziativa del direttivo aisre, e avviata da un gruppo di cinque consiglieri (il primo comitato di redazione fondatore di eyesreg: marco alderighi, valerio cutini, ugo fratesi, chiara murano, dario musolino). la missione era (ed è sempre rimasta), quella di arricchire i prodotti editoriali dell’associazione con un innovativo canale di comunicazione scientifica e divulgativa, una rivista on-line attraverso cui offrire uno spazio di confronto agile e aperto a tutti coloro che avessero interessi di ricerca e analisi nel campo delle scienze regionali.gli obiettivi che la rivista intendeva perseguire erano essenzialmente tre: estendere il dibattito sulle scienze regionali anche al di fuori dei suoi ambiti accademici tradizionali, coinvolgendo policy-maker e stakeholder, salvaguardando sempre il rigore scientifico; rendere il dibattito meno astratto e più legato alla realtà, più attento alle effettive dinamiche sociali, economiche e politiche; raggiungere un numero ampio di lettori, al fine di accrescere la visibilità e la rilevanza pubblica della disciplina delle scienze regionali, e nel contempo coinvolgere giovani ricercatori per alimentare il settore con nuove leve.con questa missione e questi obiettivi, la rivista ha p
